Australian Wattleseed - Roast And Ground
Ripe seed pods are collected from strands of mature wattles where no artificial chemicals or fertilisers are used.
Wattleseed is highly nutritious and is likely to be high in most of the major vitamins, with the exception of C, B12, and riboflavin. It’s also rich in protein and has a low glycaemic index.
It has an aroma of freshly roasted coffee, chocolate, and sweet spice flavour. Used as a caffeine-free beverage or for baking, sauces, casseroles, ice-cream, confectionery, and liqueurs.
These protein-rich seeds can be cooked into bread and cakes, added to spice mixtures and rubs, and can even be roasted and added to desserts.
Store in a cool, dark, and dry place.
