Join us and learn more about Acrylic Pouring and bring home your very own stunning fluid acrylic pouring masterpieces! This workshop provides you with the opportunity to learn about the materials and tools involved in Acrylic Pour so that you can create your own pieces.
We will demonstrate the different methods, tips, tricks and techniques required and you will be able to experience the
freedom of playing with paint while it’s still fluid on the canvas! Every canvas will be unique and no two pieces are ever the same.
Acrylic pour is a similar but satisfactory alternative for participants who like the look of Resin but are sensitive or allergic to it.

Designs using acrylic paint in the comforts of your own home!
By the end of the workshop, you will create 3 artwork pieces to take home
Suitable for beginners – no experience needed.
What you will learn:
-How to prepare the acrylic paint mixture
-Different kinds of pouring mediums, where to get them and how to make your own
-Basic paint recipe
-What types of paints to use
-Paint additives for creating cells
-Tools required to set up at home for acrylic pour
-The different techniques of acrylic pour
-What canvas, paper & objects to use
-How to prepare and set up your canvas/objects for acrylic pour
-How to make your work shiny after it has been cured
All materials are provided.
-1x canvas board
Please come dressed with clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty in.
About the instructor:
Zoey is a graduate from LASALLE Collage of the Arts, Masters of Art in Fine Arts. Formally trained in web design and communication design, the creation of her work centers on the elements of impermanence and temporality. Using illustrative embroidery as a medium, she uses different techniques to capture and preserve a moment, constructed or candid. She also conducts different embroidery workshops every other month.
Selene Joan Quek is a Fashion Merchandising graduate from RMIT University, Australia. Her profound interest for fashion and traveling lead her abroad to pursue the little things in life she loves. When Selene isn't busy looking at fashion icons for inspiration, she enjoys connecting ideas, visualizing concepts and developing creative solutions to embark on her new project adventure.
