Fanny Lai

Fanny Lai is a retired corporate executive without formal training in art or cartoon illustration. Her inspiration comes from comic books like ‘Old Master Q’, ‘Mad magazine’, ‘Mr Kiasu’ and anything that makes for a good laugh.

Prior to her retirement, she was the Group CEO of Wildlife Reserve Singapore, taking care of Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, Jurong Bird Park and the development of River Safari. She now spends her time travelling around the world exploring wild places and conducting field conservation work. She resides in Singapore and Denmark with her husband and two grown up children.
